I haven't played this, but I assume the Lego games do a better job of being what this game should have been.

I just wish the marvel interactive universe hadnt started with the avengers. Maybe play off of spiderman ps4. Maybe start with a singleplayer iron man game. I dont know. But dont start with avengers. Here,an idea. Considering how Avengers needed to make skills and skillsets and gameplay for each single Hero,They could easily make Singleplayer for each avengers then Use the gameplay from each game and combine them to Avengers. That would make it amazing.... but eh.

A gorgeous live-action version of what amounts to a lego game would have been cooler.

So I have a huge complaint with this video. I personally believe Matt missed the entire point of the game. I just picked it up for myself because I thought it would be garbage based off this review because you guys usually align with my opinions so strongly it's like you're in my brain haha. I find you guys to be wrong about this. I get that you were expecting to play as and avenger, which you still clearly can, but what square Enix was trying to do with kamala khan was make it feel like you the fan are fighting alongside your favorite heros. That's why she has lil meltdowns, the way we do when we see our heros on the big screen. I really think if you went back without any expectations, you'd notice hey they actually did something really cool here. You could see the good in death stranding but not this one? Try it again matt!

The problem with most games based in movies, aside from the "media translation" issues, is that they always get rushed to develop, because the big company behind it, in this case Disney, need that game to be out real quick while the hype for the movie is still high. It's similar to when they rush a game so it's out for the holidays; perfection needs time, it's all I'm saying.

This was the first and last game I've ever pre-purchased. I learned my lesson and will never do it again. This game has no right being as disappointing as it is. And the amount of data it sucks up just to play the campaign is outrageously ridiculous.

Lol that game WAS a steaming pile. I got stuck on the bridge fight; where Black Widow needs to interact with the flying enemy. Cant shoot the bad guy, nothing to grab, just failure and restart the 8sec scene. On the plus side, I got ~50GB of my computer storage back.

Isn't using "boomers" to negatively stereotype a game or its audience kind of a slur? Im not pro-PC or pro-SJW at all, but part of that is because we already live in a culture that has figured out the reasonable level of PCness and SJWness, for example, not referring to groups of people using slurs or negative stereotypes, so many of the ideas to go even further push far past "reasonable." In most ways we already have the perfect balance, which includes not using slurs. But since suddenly it's OK to use "boomers" in that way, that feels like a step back so I'm bringing it up.
